Sales Representative
General Summary:
The Calvin Price Group is looking for talented Sales Representatives to help grow our business and explore new territories. The Sales Representative will sell office products to customers at their place of business. Essential Requirements:
Relevant experience, Associates Degree or Bachelors (BS or BA)-preferred- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and social media
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Essential Responsibilities:- Attends weekly office meetings and annual company-wide sales and trade conventions.
- Investigates and resolves customer issues.
- Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
- Works with Customer Service Representative to ensure the customer understands ordering process.
- Prepares reports of business transactions.
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Expands vertical markets through margin management, and customer exposure to furniture, printing, break room, janitorial and ad specialty products.
- Displays or demonstrates merchandise, using samples or catalog, to develop customers' product knowledge.
- Distributes product catalog and specialty flyers to current and prospective clients (often carries multiple catalogs at one time - @15-20lbs.)
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
- Develops and maintains outstanding working relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Travels, by car, and/or walking, throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to develop clientele
Employment Type:
- Full or Part-Time Contractor / 1099
Compensation:
- Commission up to 90%
- Bonus(s) Quarterly
Customer Service Representative
General Summary:
The Calvin Price Group is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our successful team in Customer Service. The candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced, high volume environment. The Customer Service Representative will process orders, research questions and respond to customers' needs and requests.
Essential Requirements:
- A strong desire to serve
- Relevant experience or Associates Degree / Bachelors preferred
- Outstanding telephone skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Computer skills required, including fast and accurate data entry
- Able to work well with others in a team environment
- Previous office supply experience helpful
Essential Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers regarding orders and requests via telephone, fax, internet, and e-mail
- Answer incoming calls in a timely, efficient and professional manner
- Enter orders into computer system
- Set-up new accounts and maintain existing account information
- Work closely with managers and sales representatives regarding customer needs
Employment Type:
- Full or Part-Time Contractor / 1099
Compensation:
- $17 - $25 hourly USD
- Bonus(s) on-the-spot
Internship Opportunities:
We provide internship opportunities in Sales, Marketing, Business Services, Purchasing, Delivery, Office Management Bids and Human Resources. Internship opportunities are based on availability and organizational need. Internships are available throughout the school year and in the summer months and are offered to students, graduates, as well as anyone who is open & willing to learn.
